Finals is near!

This semester is almost over and it's time to wrap things up. Everything moves so fast this semester, I feel it everything is just started one month ago and suddenly it one week before final week. Well if I try to look everything from the beginning it's all make sense. There a lot things happen since I was here. New friends, experience, and newer me. I'm so glad with everything that happen to me so far. Although I wish I had more time to utilize my skill more since so far I just applied my skills on school project only, not my personal project.

Rooted... Finally!

... It's 3am in the morning and I felt super sleepy. It's the second day in row I slept this late. I need to stop this and do other thing like homework or drawing, but I can't. It'll haunt me forever. The cause : my phone Is it broken (again?). I just got it few weeks ago... *sigh* ---- That was in my head for last couple days. The problem is I want to root my android phone but I can't since there is problem with the phone driver somehow any computer won't detect it correctly therefore I can't do anything on it. Well, I'm not gave up easily therefore I keep trying to fix it. So this morning I stuck with my laptop, phone, and (luckily) my usb cable in my class. So I just wondering to do it one more time since I can't do anything in my class since my brain demands its ransom not works. I plug all things and ready to root it. First, it doesn't work but somehow my computer able to recognize my phone as slightly different phone. It kinda remind I have one program that suppose to be able to do all work in one click. The result it isn't working because I have different OS version (bummer... ). Then I try to ask (uncle) Google and somehow I run into a site that lead to my "savior", which weird enough before I tried it on my desktop and it doesn't work but this time it's work! My phone successfully rooted at last, thanks to amazing PDAnet and good mojo of my class. Rawr!~

Kids on the Slope

or in Japanese name is 坂道のアポロン Sakamichi no Aporon. I was surprised when saw it on the first time, "what a coincidence!" pop up in my mind since currently I take class about Jazz class.

This anime (Japanese cartoon) is about a introvert classical pianist, Kaoru who transferred into Kyushu to live with his aunt because his parent work outside of Japan. This caused him to meet Sentarou, a wild first year high school student (9th grade). They form a bond by playing Jazz music. At the first time they have jam session, Kaoru had a hard time to play Jazz since he always play by the rules (classical) but he able to learn to play freely.

Below is the opening theme of "Sakamichi no Apollon", Sakamichi no Melody by YUKI.

Bad Week

I sat beside bus stop around afternoon, it will be my an amazing day like usually. While waiting for my bus, I played puzzle game in my nDS. I wait around 10 minutes to see a bus stopped just around in the corner. I flip my DS and put it in my bottomless pant's pocket. and..... "DAMN" I can't find my School ID / bus pass. After couples tries, I gave up to search and *sigh* I lost my school ID :( well $10 gone. Another this is my phone is broken and the store that sell the phone doesn't have any loaned phone for my carrier during claiming insurance. Since I don't have time left so unfortunately I need to do it this week when I have really heavy event / schedule... *sigh* I hope this week going to be better... win opportunity drawing xD sounds good! hopefully I wil able to get iPod touch!

Japanese Flower Arrangement

I attended a Japanese culture expo today. Over there I was able to get see some Japanese traditional dance, music, and flower arrangement. There is a speaker from the Ikebana (Japanese Flower Arrangement) show me about some basic Ikebana technique. She explain to me there is 4 way (basic) to create a flower arrangement. One of them is a technique which using a main stem and secondary stems. The picture that I attached on the left is the example of that principle. The main stem is the curly flowerless stem on the back and the stem with flower is act as a support element to it. By put the main stem as the highest stem, it gives an statement about it's as the main stem. The different elevation of the stem in this piece definitely give an interesting interest to watch.

Jazz Painting

It's been couple months since I realized that the music that I like is called Jazz, which sound kinda different from Jazz that I knew before (Kenny G.'s silky smooth jazz). Since I'm an artist therefore my first though is Jazz art. I came across some marvelous artwork that I would like to share

I really like theses picture because of the color scheme that they used. I believe Jazz essence is capture best in gold, brown, dark brown and color in between, black and white.
